Overview

Addiction is a widespread issue in society, with 48.5 million (16.7%) Americans battling a substance use disorder in the past year, according to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). Addiction recovery support is necessary to help these individuals gain their sobriety and to achieve long-term recovery.

In this recovery coach certification course, you will learn the dynamics of a strengths-based system for changing addictive behavior and earn your addiction recovery coach certification online with the Professional Recovery Coach course. You can help others break the cycle of addiction, reconnect to themselves and their community, and live a fulfilling and productive life.

You will learn the role of the professional recovery coach along with the desired skills, traits, and competencies needed for success in the coaching relationship. You will dive into the effects of addiction on the brain and discover the foundational role that joy plays in recovery and how lasting, meaningful connections are vital to the recovery process.

This comprehensive program will help you gain skills to motivate your clients and prepare you to achieve your addiction recovery coach certification online. This recovery coach certification course is certified by the IAPRC (International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches) and provides Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the NET Training Institute.
